Jessi Malay is a natural born performer. As a teenager, she was signed to Jive Records as the lead singer of the girl group No Secrets, and later broke out as a solo artist while signed at Warner Bros./Reprise Records. In 2012, she co-founded her own production company and label, The Coalition Group. She recently released her debut EP, Give Me Life, where she co-wrote and co-directed all her songs and music videos.

Dynasty Electric is an electro-rock duo from Brooklyn, New York, United States, consisting of vocalist Jenny Electrik and multi-instrumentalist Seth Misterka.

Arrested Development is an American alternative hip hop group, founded by Speech and Headliner as a positive, Afrocentric alternative to the gangsta rap popular in the early 1990s. In hip-hop, Arrested Development is legendary. Their debut album won two GRAMMYs in 1993, grabbing a great amount of critical praise and Platinum level sales. Kimbra Lee Johnson (born 27 March 1990), known mononymously as Kimbra, is a New Zealand singer-songwriter and guitarist. On 29 August 2011 she released her debut album Vows, which peaked in the top 5 in both New Zealand, and Australia. On 22 May 2012 Vows was released to the North American market, debuting at #14 in the United States on the Billboard 200.

A classic example of the Philadelphia soul genre, it was written by Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff as the theme for the American musical television program Soul Train, which specialized in African American musical performers. The single was released on the Philadelphia International label, and it is arguably the first disco song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Robert Glasper (born April 5, 1978) in Houston, Texas is an American jazz pianist and record producer. Glasper’s music can be described as “experiments with space, rhythm and chord textures”, creating a vast array of sound. He has said that he tries to make the music flow in a way more like a hip-hop beat, trying to always leave the music open for someone to rap over.

In 2009, a group of musicians from San Francisco / Bay Area came together and formed Sherlock Tones. Sherlock Tones creates an electric alternative hip hop sound with pop sensibility.

Stanton Warriors are the breakbeat duo Dominic Butler and Mark Yardley. They are a DJ and producer team. They play sets at nightclubs such as Fabric and Ciros in the UK, and travel the globe with international work in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Their name was taken from a hexagonal shaped manhole cover, made by Stanton Ironworks, based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire which seemed fitting with their style of underground, cutting edge music.

Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. (born October 20, 1971), better known by his stage name Snoop Dogg (formerly known as Snoop Doggy Dogg), is an American rapper, singer, record producer, and actor. His new song called That Tree featuring Kid Cudi was released in February 2010.

Born Derrick La’Mont Thompson, this 10 year Michigan Hip-Hop Veteran has definately paid his dues and has receipts to show for it. His 5 self released projects and plenty of collabs with other artists, has earned him a well respected but still unknown name. To change that, he is currently working Project 52: D’Enajetic Challenge. A self imposed mission to write, record, and release a song week for an entire year.
